Permanent Cosmetics in Harpendon
It is a 2 part process where advanced pigments are inserted into the 2nd dermal layer of the skin. Clients are patch tested prior to the first procedure to see if they have any allergic reactions to the pigments or anaesthetics. 99.9% of people do not have any reaction at all.
You will need to allow 90 minutes for your first procedure. If you intend to have a "full face" (eyes, brows, lips) then you should allow a minimum of 3 - 4 hours.
After the 2nd part of the procedure has been completed the semi-permanent make-up will last up to two years. Over that time the colour will fade and break down.
it is suggested that you come back for a "top up" procedure every 12-18 months to keep the look complete and fresh.
Some clients feel no discomfort at all, others may feel minimal discomfort.
We use topical anaesthetics throughout the procedures to minimise any pain.
Clients say that having a procedure is similar to having their eyebrows plucked or at worst their legs waxed.

Frequently Asked Questions about Semi Permanent Make Up In Buckinghanshire
Are you worried, a little bit scared or just curious if it is the right choice for you?
Questions answered for you .
1. How long does it last?
2. Is it painful at all?
3. Are there any side effects and if so, what are they?
Answers
1. It will depend on what sort of skin you have as to how long it will last and also what
colours you are going to choose and also how long you expose your skin to the sun. The lighter the colour, the quicker it fades and that applies to how long you are out in the sun. Typically though, it should last 6 months to a year although touch ups can be done.
2. Most people describe having semi-permanent make up applied as uncomfortable rather than painful due to the anaesthetic used before and during the treatments. After a course of treatments such as 3 to 5 sessions, this has been described as more of an itching feeling.
3. The only side effect known at present is some swelling around the area in which the make-up has been applied. This will go down after a couple of hours or a couple of days dependent on how much make up you have had.
Permanent make up treatments offer having perfectly applied make up first thing in the morning for up to 5 years.
